You will be expected to deliver Industry leading paint jobs, finish work and an immense attention to detail, that cannot be stressed enough, detail, detail and more freaking detail! We have a standard of output unparalleled at the moment and we strive to continue that prestige, we would like you to be part of that calling.

What will it take to be successful in this role? Well, we’re always looking for people who are artist’s first and who can help us become even better than we are today, so your previous achievements probably look something like this:

  • A minimum of 5 or more years' experience painting miniatures or models. Or just painting in general!
  • Extraordinary detailing skills, ability to hand apply fine detail.
  • Expert-level understanding of color, and paint dynamics.
  • Dynamic, excellent communicator, big-picture minded and a model team-player.
  • Vast experience collaborating with other leads, artists, and the Art Director.
  • Proven problem-solving and prototyping abilities.
  • Excellent eye for light, shade, color, and detail in different styles.
  • Really good at working creatively as part of a large or small group.


What makes you different?

Most importantly, we want to get to know who you are, because life’s too short to pretend to be something you’re not (unless we’re talking cosplay, of course). That said, we hope you have:

  • A strong passion for creating cool collectibles.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the many different IPs we work on.
  • A positive outlook on things.
  • Strong skills in traditional arts including drawing and sketching, painting and a little bit of sculpting.

  • Ability for full-time work onsite at Level52 Studios HQ in Auburn, Washington.
  • You should be willing to complete a test if requested to do so.
